Kitchen and Bathroom projects have become the most comprehensive spaces to remodel within the home. High job complexity and short time constraints leave many homeowners overwhelmed by the process. The key to a successful Kitchen or Bathroom renovation is the job plan and schedule. Generally, this is how a Hancock Kitchen or Bathroom project progresses:

Hancock's in-house designer / supervisor works with the homeowner to generate the main design concept and CAD plan. We have been designing these spaces for over 30 years. One of our designers is a nationally Certified-Age-In-Place Specialist (CAPS).
Hancock creates a job schedule from the design concept and CAD plan. The job schedule illustrates the entire project down to specific days. Included in the schedule are suggested team members and deadlines for each item / design selections (Occasionally customers elect to go with their own cabinet designers, etc., and we are happy to accommodate these requests). You will know everything you need to pick out and by what date. You will also know during the construction phase, what work is being done each day. This allows homeowners to know ahead of time, which specific work they may want to be around for (Eg. electrical..etc)
After the main plan and job schedule are finalized, we will send the homeowner to specific team members / experts in their field. For example, Kitchen Cabinet design is done by an expert that we have worked with for over 15 years. The team members assist you in their field of expertise, while Hancock maintains constant oversight and accountability for the final approval of all items. We make sure the homeowners' selections and individual team members' suggestions work within the overall design.
The construction phase starts when all the required job items have arrived and been inspected at the site. You should never have to stop progress because of a damaged or missing item. Hancock's in-house Designer also acts as a Site Supervisor. We do not hand the projects off... you have one person's accountability for every phase and team member. The job schedule is updated daily and the project progresses accordingly.
The project is not completed until the homeowner has walked through the project with the Designer / Supervisor and identified any concerns or punch-list items. Once these items are addressed and the homeowner is content, the project is then complete. Hancock stands behind our labor warranty for 10 years.
